LH Tuner is a sophisticated application designed for precise instrument tuning, achieving a remarkable accuracy of ±0.001 semitone or ±0.1 cent. This tuner is versatile, capable of tuning a wide range of acoustic and electric instruments including pianos, guitars (both acoustic and electric), bass, strings, brass, woodwinds, and timpani.

The application allows users to set the fundamental frequency for note A4 within a range of 430Hz to 450Hz, catering to various tuning preferences.

Noteworthy features include a comprehensive transposition function and a tone generator offering four distinct wave types: sine, saw, triangle, and square. Users can choose from two keyboard types: a classical keyboard modeled after a piano and a customizable keyboard that allows for the generation of any desired pitch.

The tone generator is equipped with an automated frequency calculation system, enabling it to function effectively across multiple temperaments. The fine tuning knob facilitates precise adjustments, allowing users to modify the cent of the generated note from -50 to +50 with the corresponding frequency displayed in Hz. Additionally, the 'init' button resets any offset to zero.

With three operational modes—rotary, horizontal, and linear—the knob offers flexibility for various user preferences. Users can also adjust the amplitude envelope by configuring attack and release times, while the noise gate feature provides control over threshold values to filter out unwanted noise.

Overall, LH Tuner impresses with its thoughtful design and user-friendly interface.
